The project established the former historic gardens (in a central position between the municipal offices and Palazzo Simoni Fe) as a public space and created a precise relationship with the surrounding buildings and the urban paths. The area was only partially paved (in Bienno porphyry) so as to create the necessary surface for use in the green area and give it a recognisable initial identity.
